About Mrs. Keene
Hi! My name is Mrs. Keene, and I am so excited to
be your kindergarten teacher.
I like to swim, go camping,
cook, scrapbook, and, of course, READ! I
love to go to the library to borrow books.
Some of my favorite children's authors are Mo Willems, Leo Lionni, and
Eric Carle. Have you read any of their
books?
I live with my husband and our
pet Leopard Gecko, Sunny. This February,
we also added a new member to our family when we had a baby girl, named Lucy. Lucy likes anything she can lick, pacifiers,
music, rolling, and books. Okay…she
still licks her books, so I’ll keep her books out of our classroom library! I love to play with my little nephews and
nieces. Declan is 7, Ciaran is 5, and
Edward and Sammy are 4, Andrew is 3, Carys is 2, and Meggie was born May. You will hear a lot of funny stories about
all of the kids during Writer's Workshop!
One of my favorite things is
that I get to be a teacher. I love to
get to know my students and help them learn.
Each student has special interests and talents. I can't wait to learn about yours!

Mrs. McCarthy
Hi! My name is Mrs. McCarthy. Cooking is my favorite thing in the entire world to do. I love to experiment in the kitchen. I enjoy going to the Cape. We spend most of our summers there. We have a motor boat that we use to ski. I also love to read, garden, and walk.
I have four children. Christopher is a senior at Westford Academy. My son Sean is a sophomore at Westford Academy. Ryan is entering sixth grade, and Erin is entering fifth. My three boys are all hockey players, and my daughter is a gymnast.
I love being a teacher because I love watching children grow and I love watching children learn new things. I can't wait to meet all of you!
